Maria José LOUREIRO, Ph.D., is the professor responsible for the ICT Competence Center at the University of Aveiro, part of the Team of Resources and Educational Technology of the Portuguese Ministry of Education.  Teacher trainer and member of several international research teams in the fields of Education and ICT. Her research interests are related to computer mediated interaction and argumentation, online and academic writing, online learning and teaching, communities of practice and integration of technology in teaching/training.
