Participants are invited to submit proposals for workshop sessions on the main thematic areas of the ICEM Conference:

  • video language and pedagogy;
  • digital educational environments;
  • space vs interface design;
  • new platform paradigms for online learning.

The workshops sessions will be held on September 20th, in the framework of the pre-conference day.

Participant places on each workshop are limited (up to 15/20 persons).

Workshops can follow a variety of formats, providing teaching or training skills, ranging from mini-courses and seminars, to problem-solving and activity-based sessions, to hands-on practical work. These may be based on project experiences. Workshops can offer an opportunity for identifying common issues and developing ideas for further work within your education and media networks.
The length of the workshops varies according to the format. Please choose the most appropriate length for your proposal from the options below:

  • 90-minute workshop;
  • 180-minute workshop;
  • all day workshop.

Workshop proposals should be submitted as a 500-words abstract, detailing the content, format and length.

Workshop acceptance will be decided by the Conference Scientific Committee, in line with conference topics and availability of places.

The deadline for workshop submission expired on May 31st 2017. You can still send us a late-breaking abstract, but our Commission reserves the right not to evaluate proposals received after the deadline.
